Mrs. Griffore's 3 Year Old Preschool

This is one of the many fun things we do for STEM on Tuesday/Thursday.  We made s’mores!  We discussed what would happen to the marshmallow if we put it in the microwave.  One of the kiddos said it would melt.  Another student said it would get squishy!  They had fun watching the marshmallow puff up in the microwave.  The best part was eating them!!

After our rest time Bethlehem Lutheran School had a Harvest Parade.  All the classes came into Mrs. May’s room and paraded around our tables for us to see!  We joined the parade and then got to go through everyone’s room.  We even got some candy from the church staff and the 8th grade class.  Here are the kids from Preschool 2.0 that were here for the parade.  And Ms. Beery....our 2nd grade teacher.  

Today we played “Shape” bingo.  The kids did a great job finding the right color and shape on their bingo card.  They all said “Bingo” when they covered their card.  We even sang the Bingo song!  

After Chapel we were able to play for just a few minutes before we had our Harvest Party.  We were all dressed up in our costumes for the party.  We lined up and went downstairs.  We all enjoyed the different stations that were set up for us.  Our awesome room parents had an amazing party for us.  Thank you to the many parents who helped make this party a huge success!  The kids enjoyed playing games, apples and Carmel for snack, decorating cookies and treat bags and they even got to throw spiders (plastic) at cob webs.  

We started out our day with Chapel for Reformation Day.  Thank you to the parents that came and sat with their child for Chapel.  We had a traditional service this morning.  Pastor Buchanan talked about Martin Luther and what the Lutheran Rose meant.  We even watched a video with play mobile characters explaining the Life of Martin Luther.  

We had a great week in Preschool.  We talked about Moses parting the Red Sea and the Mean King Pharoah.  The kids enjoyed saying, “Let my people go!” We are really playing great together as friends.  We had some nice ladies take out pictures and we smiled out best!  We ended our week with some play time and the goodbye song.     Where did he go?  The boys and girls love building towers with the cardboard bricks.  

We had a visit from Fireman Mark.  Mark Laux works for the Midland fire department.  He has 2 children that attend Bethlehem.  He told us not to be afraid of firefighters.  They are there to help us.  He had lots of cool things to show us.
